Structure: Standard hose made of plasticized PVC has colorless wall and white spiral of hard PVC and is smooth on inside. In explosion-proof version copper strand line is imbedded in the external wall of hoses parallel to hard PVC coil. Its role is to carry off any electrostatic charges.
Operating temperature range: - 10oC to + 55oC.

Application: Standard hoses are designed for transportation of potable water and food articles, such as: milk, drinks, juices, beer, wine.Explosion-proof hoses are designed for transportation of media, which must be conveyed with electrostatic charges carried off. Electrostatic charges are effectively carried off when the following conditions are met:
For zones Z1, Z2, Z11 All elements mounted on the hose: connectors, end pieces etc. of conductive materials shall be connected with copper strand line embedded in hose walls and grounded. The conducting objects, among which the hose is located, shall be connected to copper strand line and effectively grounded.
For zones Z0 and Z10 In case of expected conveying of liquids or dust-air mixtures, it is necessary to analyze individually the static-electricity protection of all the process system(s).
Resistance to bending: The hose section subject to bending to diameter specified in the Table should neither break nor crack and should pass positively the tests determined in the standard, ISO 1746.
Resistance to Vacuum: A hose subject to vacuum of 65 kPa at 23oC (absolute pressure of 35 kPa) should not exhibit any suck-backs/concavities or cracking.
