TEVI PE pentru apa

Our polyethylene pipes are manufactured by extrusion process using high density polyethylene (density higher than 930 kg/m3) with the addition of antioxidants, stabilizers and pigments necessary for the production of pipes of specific mechanical properties and weldability. We use PE 80 and PE 100 grade HDPE as the base material. The material quality is confirmed by raw material certificates provided by polyethylene suppliers. High quality raw materials and world-class production technology, and the ability to make inspection and analytical testing enable us to manufacture high-quality pipes, in accordance with the requirements of international standards.
Our PE pipes are designed for the conveyance of drinking water, technological liquids, wastewater and as protecting pipes. This variety of applications of polyethylene pipes results from their excellent physical and mechanical properties and their resistance to aggressive media. At the same time, polyethylene pipes are completely physiologically inert and environmentally safe.

Advantages of PE pipes

Our polyethylene pipes, with their entire range of fittings and couplings for permanent and removable connections, form a uniform and universal system that guarantees over 50 years of service life.

The system is characterized by:
»  excellent mechanical strength;
»  high impact resistance (the PE pipes do not crack under impact, even at low temperatures down to – 80°C);
»  very good elasticity;
»  possibility of capping pipes and stopping the media flow for renovations;
»  smooth internal surface that reduces the flow resistance;
»  low weight;
»  easily and quickly made connections;
»  resistance to corrosive agents in the soil;
»  resistance to stray electrical currents;
»  physiologically inertness – plastic material do not release any contaminants to the environment.

Physical and mechanical properties

Our polythene pipes for water supply and sewage transportation are made of:
»  PE 80 class material for pressures of 0,5; 0,63; 0,8; 1,0; 1,25 MPa (PN 5; PN 6,3; PN 8; PN 10 and PN 12,5),
»  PE 100 class material for pressures of 0,6; 1,0 and 1,6 MPa (PN 6; PN 10 and PN 16).

The pipes are manufactured in blue or black. In case of black pipes it is possible to plot four or six colour stripes. Pipes made of PE-100 can work at higher pressure than pipes made of PE-80 although wall thickness is the same in both types. The effective internal area of a PE-100 pipe is about 17% bigger than that of a PE-80 pipe at the same nominal pressure.
